Malcolm Richard Rowden, age 6 months, was born August 29, 2021, at Rolla, a son of Caleb Michael and Emily Jordan (Ingersoll) Rowden, and passed from this life Wednesday, March 2, 2022, in St. Louis Children's Hospital.
Those left to mourn the loss of little Malcolm include: His loving parents, Caleb and Emily (Ingersoll) Rowden, of Waynesville; his big brother, Russell James Gillis, of the home; paternal grandparents, Mark and Jeanie Rowden, of Waynesville; maternal grandparents, John Waldemar and Jennifer Ingersoll, of St. Robert; maternal great-grandmother, Gretel Ingersoll, of Belen, New Mexico; maternal great-grandparents, Tom and Cindy Armstrong, of Cheyenne, Wyoming; maternal great-grandfather, Phil Riske, of Chandler, Arizona; aunts and uncles, Kristen and Nathanael Light, Mitchell Ingersoll, and John Wyatt and Morgan Ingersoll; cousin, John Wynn Ingersoll; and other relatives.
Malcolm was preceded in death by his sister, Alice Ada Rowden; paternal great-grandparents, Richard and Marilyn (Dodds) Rowden; infant paternal great-uncle, Richard Michael Rowden; paternal great-grandparents, Teddy and Velma Nichelson; maternal great-grandfather, John Wallace Ingersoll; and cousin, Logan Dunn.
Private graveside funeral services and interment will be conducted in the Seaton Cemetery, near Dixon, with Rev. Mark Rowden, Stonebrooke Church, Waynesville, officiating, under the direction of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home in Dixon. Honorary pallbearers for little Malcolm will be his daddy, Caleb Rowden and big brother, Russell Gillis.
Memorial contributions in memory of Malcolm Richard Rowden are suggested to the Seaton Cemetery perpetual care fund with envelopes available at the cemetery the day of the service or in care of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, P.O. Box EE, Dixon, Missouri 65459.
