Obituary

Margaret Susanna (Kaiser) Eads, of Jefferson City, formerly of Vienna, was born May 24, 1925, at Vienna, a daughter of Kaspar Joseph and Rosa Marie (Sandbothe) Kaiser, and departed this life at 7:20 A.M., on Monday, July 24, 2017, at St. Joseph's Bluffs, Jefferson City. She had attained the age of 92 years, and 2 months.

Mrs. Eads was united in marriage to Ferrell J. Eads on August 30, 1952, at Visitation Catholic Church in Vienna. He preceded her in death on September 9, 1969.

She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Jefferson City. Her faith was very important to her and she volunteered her time and talent in many ways as she lived her life. She was an active member of St. Ann's Quilting Group; Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration Group at St. Peter Church; Ladies Sodality; she assisted with many funeral dinners; St Joseph's Bluffs garden club, and other various activities within the church until her health prohibited her participation. Mrs. Eads was the owner and operator of the Golden Rule Shop, Vienna, in the early 1970's, Deputy Circuit Clerk and Recorder of Deeds in Maries County, and worked at the Rolla Sectional Center of the United States Postal Service retiring on July 1, 1990 to become a full-time grandmother and spend time with her grandchildren.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mrs. Eads include: two daughters, Shirley Gerling and husband, Jim, and Sue Bielecki and husband, Ron, all of Jefferson City; one sister, Frances Kaiser, Vienna; four grandchildren, Matt Bielecki, Jefferson City; Beth Moon and husband, Evan, Kansas City; Kenny Gerling, Milot, Albania; and Lauren Bielecki, Jefferson City; one great-grandson, Sam Moon, Kansas City; and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by; her father, Kaspar Kaiser on July 23, 1984; her mother, Rosa Kaiser on August 24, 1982; and two brothers, Bernard Kaiser on June 27, 2013 and Henry Kaiser on April 26, 2000.

A luncheon will follow the Mass with departure from St. Peter Catholic Church at 1:30 P.M. for the interment in Visitation Cemetery, Vienna, under the direction of the Vienna Chapel of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Masses for Mrs. Eads or to the Visitation Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund with envelopes available at the Church or the Vienna Office of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home.
