Marie Pearl Roberson, formerly of Dixon, MO, passed away on July 4, 2022, in Silverstone Place in Rolla, MO. Marie was born on March 16, 1935, to Edgar and Amanda Vaughn Blanton in Dixon, MO and had attained the age of 87 years.

On December 20, 1952, Marie married John (Johnny) Roberson, 9 days before he left for the Air Force to serve in the Korean Conflict.

After graduating as Valedictorian of her 1953 Class of Dixon High School, Marie went to work at The State Bank of Dixon, where she worked for 33 years.

Marie and Johnny were blessed with 3 daughters, Kathleen Marie, Deborah Lynn and Susan Elaine and she was a loving and kind wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and loved her family and spending time with them.

Marie had accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior and enjoyed playing the piano to worship Him.  She was a faithful church pianist at First Baptist Church, Dixon and at Sheppard Baptist Church, Dixon. She was an exceptional cook and enjoyed making dishes for church dinners, for sick families and bereavement dinners.

Marie will be greatly missed by her family and friends.  Marie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Johnny, her parents, and an infant sister.

She is survived by 3 daughters; Kathy (Karl) Brandt of Lebanon, Debbie (Jesse) Vance of Dixon, and Susie (Dickie) Myers of House Springs, MO; 6 grandchildren, Kristen & Jason Waterman, Kody & Erin Brandt, Samuel & Julie Vance, Cindy & Jake Simmons, Kaitlin & Ryan King, and Stephanie & Taylor Maddox; and 16 great-grandchildren, her loving sister, Martha Alexander of Dixon, her sister-in-law, Josephine Roberson of Knoxville, Tennessee, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Marie Pearl Roberson will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. (noon) Friday, July 8, 2022, in Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, 105 East Third Street, Dixon, MO 65459, with her funeral service following at 12:00 p.m. (noon) in the chapel with Bro. Tom Maples officiating.

Interment will be next to her loving husband in the Dixon Cemetery, Pulaski County, Dixon, MO, under the direction of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Dixon, MO.  Pallbearers for Marie will be Jason Waterman, Ryan King, Jake Simmons, Tyler Maddox, and Samuel Vance. Honorary pallbearers will be Karl Brandt, Richard Myers, Jesse Vance, and Kody Brandt.
