Ida Marie Wagner, age 93, of Vienna, was born on September 22, 1929, at Vienna, a daughter of Thurman and Minnie Elsie (Backues) Crider, and passed from this life at, Wednesday, September 28, 2022, in Maries Manor, Vienna.

She was united in marriage March 9, 1949, at Vienna, to Odest Leon Wagner, and to this union, one son was born.

Mrs. Wagner had accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior and was a member of the Church of Christ, Vienna. She had been employed by Langenberg Hat Company, Vienna, and was a devoted housewife and homemaker to her family as well. Marie enjoyed quilting, crossword puzzles, working outside, and tending to her beautiful roses.

Those left to celebrate the life of Mrs. Wagner include: Her grandsons, Brad Wagner and wife, Amanda, of Rolla, and Brian Wagner and wife, Heather, of Vienna; ten great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Odest Leon, on December 25, 1989; their son, Bennie Leon Wagner, on November 5, 2020; one granddaughter, Rylie Dawn Wagner, on April 4, 2017; her father, Thurman, on May 26, 1983; her mother, Minnie, on December 20, 1982; two brothers, Harry Crider on May 10, 1975, and Howard Crider on May 12, 1926, at age 9 months; and three sisters, Hazel Breeding on April 21, 2014, Berniece Gillispie on July 20, 2007, and Shirley Jones.

Visitation for Mrs. Ida Marie Wagner will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon, Monday, October 3, 2022, in Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, 406 South Main Street, Vienna, MO  65582, with her funeral service following at 12:00 noon in the Chapel with John Roberson officiating.

Interment for Mrs. Wagner will be next to her husband and son in the Vienna Public Cemetery under the direction of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home in Vienna. Pallbearers will be Brian Wagner, Brad Wagner, Ryan Wagner, Otto Williams, Jimmy Bull, and Joe Backues.
