Mark David Pendleton, of Holts Summit, was born on May 26, 1963, at Jefferson City, a son of Mark Lavern and Margie Bell (Dake) Pendleton, and departed this life on Tuesday, December 31, 2019, at his residence near Holts Summit.  Mark had been in failing health for some time and had attained the age of 56 years, 7 months, and 5 days.

Mark had been baptized in to the Church of Christ, Jefferson City.  During his working life he had been employed with Eskens Drywall, and Unilever Personal Products, Jefferson City, until his health would no longer permit.  Mark enjoyed taking drives, music, watching old westerns, fishing, and was an avid sports fan, especially the St. Louis Blues and the St. Louis Cardinals.  He was always diligent in taking care of his family and friends.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mark include: His father, Mark L. Pendleton, Holts Summit; one brother, Stephen Pendleton, Jefferson City; one sister, Debbie Kreisel and husband, Ricky, Centertown; his puppy dog, Kiara; nephews; nieces; and other relatives and friends.

Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Margie on December 9, 2011; and one sister Diane Kay Prenger on December 3, 2018.

The way Mark lived and interacted with others was the best tribute anyone could have for their life.  Fond and precious memories will always be remembered in the hearts of his dear family, and all who knew and loved him.

Mark's family and friends will gather at a later occasion to remember his life.
