Marquerite Clara Haynes, of Vienna, was born May 19, 1934, at St. Louis, and passed from this life on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at SSM St. Mary’s Hospital, Jefferson City.

She was united in marriage on January 23, 1996, in Camdenton to Mr. Harold Franklin Haynes, who preceded her in death on January 28, 2023.

Marquerite was baptized early in life and enjoyed gardening, reading, going to the library, and book fairs. In her younger years she enjoyed traveling around the country and took several European Grand Tours. She also took flying lessons from one of the first female pilots in the St. Louis, Missouri area. She especially loved cats, and spending time with her family.

She graduated with a master’s degree and during her working years was an elementary school teacher and a psych examiner in the St. Louis City School District, until she retired.

Those left to mourn the passing of Marquerite include; her brother, William Bullerdick and wife, Mary of St. Charles; several sisters-in-law and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

In addition to her husband Harold, Marquerite was also preceded in death by her parents.

In following Marquerite’s wishes, the family elected cremation under the direction of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, 406 South Main Street, Vienna, Missouri. A private interment will be held at a later time.
