Marvin John
Wieberg
May 23, 1961 — Dec 29, 2024
Marvin John Wieberg, age 63, of Koeltztown, was born May 23, 1961, at Argyle, a son of the late Edmund John and Bernadine Wilhelmina (Falter) Wieberg. He was called home from this life on Sunday, December 29, 2024, while at home with his loving wife.
He was united in marriage on May 12, 1984, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, in Taos, to the former Miss Barbara Ann Prenger. To this union one son was born.
Marvin was a member of the Argyle St. Aloysius Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Council No. 2047. He was very dedicated to his church serving on the Finance Committee, and ushering until December of 2023. Marvin graduated third in his class from Vienna High School in 1979. During high school, he worked for the Vienna Sale Barn, and the Langenburg Hat Factory in Vienna. After high school, he began working at Westinghouse. He also worked for a short time at Miller Tool & Dye before starting with Modine Manufacturing, as a header-pressman, on January 26, 1981. After several years of working in the factory, he was promoted, working in materials control. He remained with Modine Manufacturing for 26 years, retiring February 23, 2007. Marvin then helped his dad, Ed, on the farm, until his father passed away in 2018. Marvin also worked at Quaker Window Products as a framer from January of 2008 until 2017. Marvin enjoyed fishing, frogging and mushroom hunting, and could throw a mean riser wiffle ball. He loved giving his harvested fish, frogs and mushrooms to friends and family. Marvin was a God-loving family man, and a giver who always put others first. Nothing was more important to him than his family, and his biggest joy was his son and grandson. Marvin will always be remembered for putting a smile on your face and making others happy.
