Mary Lou (Cahill) Ware, age 87, of Vienna, was born July 5, 1938, in Jefferson City, a daughter of Leo R and Evelyn Lea (Morris) Doyel, and passed from this life on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was united in marriage on November 22, 1956, to Thurman Francis Cahill, who preceded her in death on August 23, 1991. Mary was later married on September 7, 1996, to Elmer Ware who preceded her in death on July 11, 2016.
Mary was a devoted housewife, mother, and homemaker, who also cared for other children as well as her own. She loved God, and was a member of Little Flock Baptist Church, where she was the part time pianist and a Sunday School teacher. Mary also enjoyed quilting and gardening.
Those left to mourn the passing of Mary include: her two sons, Dennis Cahill and wife, Rita, of Vienna, and David Cahill and wife, Franky of Dixon; one daughter, Linda and husband Steve of Vienna; eleven grandchildren, Jeremy Smith (fiancé Heather), Heather Boldwin (Chauncey), Tanya Rollins (Justin), Monica Cahill (friend Justin), Jessica Davis (friend Jon), Christopher Cahill, Michael Cahill (MaKayla), April Stegeman (Rory), Amber Gul (Ercan), Andra Pardoe (friend Joshua), Aleah Fulks (Seth); twenty-two great-grandchildren; one sister, Shirley Branson of Dixon; two sisters-in-law, Anna Thompson, and Bonnie Cahill; nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
In addition to her late husbands, Mary was also preceded in death by two sisters, Geraldine Tracy, and Bernice Sands; and one infant bother, Carl Eads.
Visitation for Mary will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Thursday, June 25, 2026, with her funeral service following at 12:00 (noon), all in Little Flock Baptist Church, 10218 Maries Road 332, Vienna, MO, with Brother Chuck Davis officiating.
Interment for Mary will be in the Little Flock Cemetery, under the direction of Birmingham-Martin Funeral home, Vienna. Pallbearers for Mary will be Justin Rollins, Jeremy Smith, Michael Cahill, Christopher Cahill, Dakota Boldwin, and Chauncey Boldwin. Honorary Pallbearers will be Steve Smith, Dominic Boldwin, Raymond Thompson, Ezra Cahill, Kanon Rollins, Jayce Rollins, Liam Davis, and Bryson Smith.
Immediately after cemetery service, the Ware family extends an invitation to all in attendance to share a meal with them at the First Baptist Church, Vienna.
Memorial contributions are suggested by the family to Little Flock Church or to the Little Flock Cemetery Associationwith envelopes available at the church on the day of her service or c/o the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, P.O. Box 250, Vienna, MO 65582.
