Mary Catherine "Cathy" Reynard, age 79, of Vienna, was born August 3, 1944, at Iberia, a daughter of William Wayne and Margie May (Malmberg) Humphrey, and passed from this life on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, in Aurora Health and Rehabilitation, Rolla.

She was united in marriage May 30, 1975, at Rolla, to James Fredrick "Jim" Reynard, who preceded her in death on January 22, 2022.

Cathy was a member of First Baptist Church, Vienna, and was active in various areas of the church. She was a loving and devoted housewife and homemaker. Cathy loved caring for children, which carried through to her babysitting, but most of all she cherished the time spent with her family.

Those left to mourn the passing of Cathy include: her two sons, Eugene Rowden (Loetta Ireland) of Vienna, and Mark Rowden (Tina) of Dixon; four grandchildren, Amber Rowden Whitaker of Rolla, Kristine Rowden of Magazine, Arkansas, Megan Rowden Begner (Zach) of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and Stephen Rowden (Monet) of Dallas, Texas; five great-grandchildren, Ethan Thornton, Emmett Whitaker, Elliott Whitaker, Emery Whitaker, and Eugene Henry Allen Begner; nephews, nieces, with greats and great-greats as well; and other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband, Cathy was also preceded in death by her father, William, on March 28, 1991; her mother, Margie, on November 4, 1993; her sister, Alice Marie Butler, on January14, 2002; and her brother, Kenneth Wayne Humphrey, on May 15, 2022.

Visitation for Mrs. Cathy Reynard will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.,
Saturday, January 27, 2024, in First Baptist Church, 1004 US Highway 63, Vienna, Mo 65582, with her funeral service following at 11:00 a.m. in the church with Rev. Chris Slocum officiating under the direction of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna.

Immediately following the funeral service in the church sanctuary, the Reynard family extends an invitation to all in attendance to share a meal with them in the Baptist Hall located on the lower level of the church.

Inurnment will be in Madden Ford Cemetery, Iberia, at later date by Birmingham-Martin, Vienna, with Amber Rowden Whitaker, Kristine Rowden, Megan Rowden Begner, Stephen Rowden, Ethan Thornton, Emmett Whitaker, Elliott Whitaker, Emery Whitaker, and Eugene Henry Allen Begner serving as honorary pallbearers for Mrs. Reynard.
