Mary Mae Leota Eaton, of Terre Haute, Indiana, was born on June 9, 1928, a daughter of Walter Clark, Sr. and Eda (Leuthen) Purcell, and departed this life on Wednesday, October 12, 2016, at her residence. Mrs. Eaton had attained the age of 88 years, 4 months, and 3 days.

Mrs. Eaton was united in marriage on May 26, 1956, to William Kemper "Bill" Eaton, who preceded her in death on July 6, 2010. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Gerald Richard Clark, on March 1, 1985; her father, Walter, on May 7, 1957 and her mother, Eda on September 27, 1984.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mrs. Eaton include: two sisters-in-law, Audrey Eaton Abernathy and Anna Purcell; one brother-in-law, Parker B. Eaton; several nephews and nieces and other relatives and friends.
