Maxine Workmon, 84, of Vienna, died Monday, February 17, 2014, in the Capital Region Medical Center, Jefferson City.

Born August 21, 1929, at Belle a daughter of John and Grace (Cook) Shockley

Married December 4, 1948, at Pocahontas, Arkansas to Willard Lester Workmon, who preceded her in death on September 5, 1989.

She was a member of the Broadway Baptist Church, Vichy.

Survivors: 3 sons and 1 daughter-in-law, Rodney Workmon, Raymond and Kimberly Workmon and Steven Workmon, all of Vichy
3 daughters and 2 sons-in-law, Pamela and Tony Eichelberger, Jefferson City; Patricia Hale and Penny and Todd Schoene, all of Vienna
3 sisters, Mardelle Fogle and Melba Rutheford, both of St. Louis and Jean Lane, Sikeston
14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, February 22, 2014, in the Vienna United Methodist Church. Interment in the Davis Cemetery, Vichy

Visitation will be held from 4 – 7 p.m., with Eastern Star services at 6:30 p.m., all on Friday, February 21, 2014, in the Vienna Chapel of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Homes and from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Saturday, February 22, 2014, in the Vienna United Methodist Church
