Michael Floyd "Mike" Null, of Waynesville, was born January 17, 1954, in St. Louis, a son of Floyd Dean and Lois JoAnn (Aaron) Null, and departed this life at 7:12 a.m., on Wednesday, June 8, 2016, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Interstate 44 two miles west of Waynesville. Mike had attained the age of 62 years, 4 months, and 12 days.
Mike was preceded in death by one infant daughter, Betty Michelle Null; his father, Floyd Dean; his mother, Lois JoAnn; and one brother, Joseph Null.
As a young man he had served in the United States Marine Corp, later was a mechanic in New Haven; and also operated his own repair business. Mike enjoyed working on vehicles, music, cookouts, hanging out at Judy's Place in Devils Elbow, and was a jokester. He loved to tease his grandchildren and spend time with family and friends.
Those left to mourn the passing of Mike include: His wife, Verna Null, Waynesville; one daughter, Melissa Malone, New Haven; two step sons, Billy Null and T.J. Strickland; seven step-daughters, Salena Null, Kasie Null, Leath Null, Tonya Ahart, Alisha Ahart, Joni King and Jennifer King; two brothers, Shane Null, Richland; and John Null, Columbia; five sisters, Melissa Kell, Warsaw; Thersia Sinden, Dixon; Danna Deatherage, Dixon; Shannon Barnhart, Eldon; and Heather Wagoner, Dixon; three grandchildren, Michael Malone, Morgan Malone, and Macy Malone all of New Haven; twenty step grandchildren, Karlie, Gage, Chelsie, Jonathon, Conner, Savanna, Wyatt, Kegan, Madison Daniella, Elijah, Aliyah, Brook, Madison, Olivia, Jordan M., Kennedi, Chelsea, Jeffery, Jace and Jordan E.; eight step great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
