Mickey Howard Jones, age 64, of Vienna, was born January 7, 1959, at Dixon, a son of Robert Ralph and Benita Ellen (Sherrell) Jones, and passed from this life Monday, February 27, 2023, at his residence near Vienna.

During his working life, Mickey was a supervisor for the Missouri Department of Transportation Bridge Crew, Jefferson City, until his retirement in 2008. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, NASCAR, and being with his family and many friends.

Those left to celebrate the life of Mickey include:  his fiancée, Delores Nicolson, Vienna; his five sons and one daughter, Justin Jones (Amanda) of St. Louis, Bryon Helton (Emily) of Westphalia, Ashley Jones (Kelly), of Vienna, John Jones and Joseph Jones, both of Jefferson City, and Jacob Jones of Meta; his seven grandchildren, Jessica Hollis, Grant Hollis, Austin Jones, Sophia Jones, Payton Jones, Avery Jones, Faith Jones, Brenden Helton, and Kayla Helton; his mother, Benita Jones, of Vienna; two brothers, Pat Jones (Lisa), and Chesley Jones (Donetta), all of Vienna; two sisters, Constance Brown of Quebec City, Canada, and Peggy Rowden (Donnie) of Dixon; nephews, nieces, and other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life for Mickey Jones will be held with the time, date, and location to be announced by Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home in Vienna. Honorary pallbearers for Mickey will be Kelly Hollis, Dean Honse, Joseph Ray "Neighbor Joe", Tim Juergens "Frog", Mike Watson, Sheldon Bauer, Jack Klocke, and Tony Welschmeyer.

Mickey was preceded in death by his father, Robert Ralph Jones, on March 3, 2011.
