Monita Pauline Hutchison, age 78, of Vienna, was born May 29, 1947, in DuQuoin, IL.  The daughter of Raybern Quinn and Pauline Werner.  Monita passed from this life on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at SSM Health St. Clare Hospital - Fenton.

On February 12, 1965, Monita was united in marriage to David Lee Hutchison of Vienna, Mo. and to this union two children were born.  Terry Duayne and Heather Nickole.

Monita was a devoted housewife and mother.  Later in life, Monita worked as a childcare provider, cleaned houses and worked at Wal-Mart.  She also worked at a factory in Owensville for a short time.  Monita was a proud member of the Democratic Club of Vienna.  She enjoyed shopping, fishing, boat rides, and was Elvis Presley's #1 fan.  Monita was also an excellent cook and would often make lavish dinners for her friends and family.  She always enjoyed hosting and her door was always open.  Monita was the perfect mother - always tending to everyone else's needs.

Monita is survived by her husband of 61 years, David of Vienna; her son, Terry Duayne Hutchison of Edgar Springs; her daughter, Heather (Hutchison) Keith and husband, Mike of Union; one grandson, Nathan Keith of Union; and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until the time of her service at 11:30 a.m., on Saturday, February 21, 2026, all in the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, 406 S. Main Street, Vienna.

Interment will be held in the Vienna Public Cemetery, under the direction of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna.  Pallbearers will be Mike Keith, Nathan Keith, Vern Hutchison, Brian Auten, Scott Resnik, and Bill Canziani.
