Nancy Faye Baker, age 77, of Dixon, died at 6:53 a.m., Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at her residence in Dixon.
Born December 15, 1935, at Granite City, Illinois, a daughter of Fred and Minnie (Kinder) McDonald.
Married November 22, 1956, at Iberia, to Ray Donal Baker, who preceded her in death.
Member of First Baptist Church, Dixon, and was a teacher in the Dixon R-1 School system for all her working life.
Survivors: One son, Charles (Chuck) and Mary Baker, Richland
Two daughters, Kelly Lewey, Dixon
Amy and Harvey Antle, Wardsville
One brother, Dr. Herbert L. and Nancy McDonald, Joplin
Six grandchildren, Charity and Ben Cartland, Wauwatosa, Wisconsin; Kristen Baker,
Pleasant Hope; Samuel, Gideon, Malachi, and Silas Antle all of
Wardsville
Funeral services under the direction of the Dixon Chapel of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Homes will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 29, 2013, in the First Baptist Church, Dixon.
Visitation 5 – 7 p.m., Friday, June 28, 2013 and 10 – 11 a.m., Saturday, June 29, 2013, in the First Baptist Church, Dixon.
