Obituary

Patricia Lynn "Pat" Hale, of Estero, Florida, formerly of Vichy, Missouri, was born on May 13, 1956, in Maries County, a daughter of Willard Lester and Cleo Maxine (Shockley) Workman, and departed this life at 8:40 a.m., on Wednesday, October 14, 2020, in the Gulf Coast Medical Center, Fort Myers, Florida. She had attained the age of 64 years, 5 months, and 1 day.

Pat was a graduate of the Jefferson City High School. She was an avid reader, and especially enjoyed watching old TV shows, murder mysteries and Antique Road Show. She also enjoyed going to flea markets, playing Keno, and loved to feed the birds and squirrels in her yard in Florida. She was a minimalist. The things she held dearest to her were her friends, her memories, and those few keepsakes that were given to her by those special persons in her life.

During most of her working life, Pat had a career as an accountant at Nevada Place in Las Vegas, Nevada. Her greatest work, however, was her choice to move home to Vienna to care for her ailing mother until she passed. Pat held other jobs prior to her retirement at age 62, at which time she moved to Florida.

Those left to mourn the passing of Pat include: Three brothers, Rodney Dean Workman, Raymond Lester Workman and wife, Kimberly, and Steven Bradley Workman, all of Vichy; two sisters, Pamela Sue Eichelberger and husband, Tony, and Penny Beth Schoene and husband, Todd, all of Vienna; nephews and nieces: Connie Workman, Craig Wansing, April Allen, Christopher Wansing, Brandy Kampeter, Ramey Workman, Kaci Workman , Anna Workman, Kathy Baker Wagner, Dwayne Collins, Steven Collins, Zachary Schoene, Corey Schoene, and Taylour Schoene; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lester, on September 5, 1989; her mother, Maxine, on February 17, 2014; and two brothers, Ronald Brett Workman on December 2, 1985, and Randall Lee Workman on November 8, 2012, and one nephew, Michael Collins, on February 7, 2020.

Visitation for Pat will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., on Saturday, November 7, 2020, in the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, 406 South Main Street, Vienna, Missouri 65582, with her Celebration of Life Service following at Noon in the chapel with the Rev. Lynn Quist, Pastor of the Vienna United Methodist Church, officiating. The Vienna United Methodist Church will provide a meal for family and friends immediately following the service.

Interment will be near her parents and brothers in the Davis Cemetery, Vichy, following the meal. Honorary pallbearers for Pat will be:
