Obituary

Patricia Ann "Pat" Hendee, of Iberia, was born March 31, 1952, at Kansas City, Missouri, a daughter of Edward Charles and Mildred Louise (Nunn) Hendee, and departed this life at 6:19 p.m., on Thursday, January 21, 2021, as result of an explosion and fire at her residence. She had attained the age of 68 years, 9 months, and 21 days.

Pat had accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and had followed her Lord in baptism early in life, and was a lifelong member of Faith Temple Church, Kansas City, Kansas.  She was a 1971 high school graduate and was a faithful member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. For most of her working life, Pat was a devoted homemaker and especially enjoyed doing crafts and baking various types of delicious breads and cookies. Pat was just an excellent cook and talented person.

Those left to mourn the passing of Pat include: Her sister, Sharon Landess (John), Shawnee Mission, Kansas; her uncle, Roger Verrill, Shawnee, Kansas; her companion, Arthur Edward Sinden, Sr., Iberia; her step-children as her own, Arthur Edward Sinden, Jr. of Holts Summit, and Anna Schnieders of Iberia; two step-grandchildren as her own, Elliott Schnieders, and Maggie Sinden, both of Iberia; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Edward, on 12-18-1977; and her mother, Mildred, on 5-13-2001; her aunt, Hazel Verrill, on 3-4-2019; followed by her companion, Arthur, on 1-22-2021.

Visitation for Ms. Patricia Ann Hendee will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m., on Saturday, February 6, 2021, in the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, 105 East Third Street, Dixon, Missouri 65459, with her funeral service following in the chapel at 11:30 a.m. with the Rev. Randall A. Hoffmann officiating.
