Obituary

Paulette Louise Knoll, of Freeburg, was born on December 15, 1954, at Johnson City, Tennessee, a daughter of Marvin and Evelyn (Tinnin) Scott, and departed this life on Monday, June 4, 2018, at her residence near Freeburg.  She had attained the age of 63 years, 5 months, and 19 days.

Paulette was united in marriage on July 14, 1973, at Mexico, Missouri, to Thomas Milton "Tommy" Knoll, and to this union, two sons were born.

She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church, Freeburg, and had been a volunteer for the Holy Family Home and School Association for many years.  Paulette loved her pet dogs:  Reba, Jelly Bean, and Miss Piggy, and spending time with them.  Miss Piggy got her name because Tommy thought the dog looked like a little pig.  In addition to being a caring housewife and homemaker during her life, she especially enjoyed other activities including working cross word puzzles, going on road trips, and anything and everything to do with her grandchildren.

Those left to mourn the passing of Paulette include:  Her sons, Jeremy Knoll and wife, Lesley, and Scott Knoll and wife, Brandi, all of Freeburg; her grandchildren, Meah, Xavier, Connor, and Cora; her mother, Evelyn Tinnin, of Koeltztown; her siblings, Ward Davis and wife, Sissy, of Springfield, Bea Christopher Toft and husband, Phil, of St. Louis, Rolla Scott and wife, Deb, of Springfield, and Michael Scott and wife, Kim, of Sikeston; nephews, nieces; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy, on January 5, 2004; and her father, Marvin Scott.

Interment will be next to her beloved husband, Tommy, in the Holy Family Cemetery, Freeburg, under the direction of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home in Vienna.

Memorial contributions in memory of Mrs. Paulette Knoll are suggested by her family to the Holy Family Home and School Association with envelopes available at the Holy Family Catholic Church or in care of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, P.O. Box 250, Vienna, Missouri  65582.
