Pauline Erna Patterson, of Owensville, was born on April 11, 1926, at DuQuoin, Illinois, a daughter of Fred Eric and Pauline Erna (Wagner) Warner, and departed this life at 2:32 a.m., Tuesday, July 4, 2017, in the Gasconade Manor Nursing Home, Owensville. Mrs. Patterson had attained the age of 91 years, 2 months, and 24 days.
Mrs. Patterson was united in marriage in 1954, at St. Louis, to James Wesley Patterson. She was preceded in death by her husband James; her parents; two brothers, Gayhart Warner and Fred Warner; and three sisters, Hilda Mylas, Martha Paga, and Freda.
She had been baptized and was a member of the Lutheran Faith, and was a member of the Moose Lodge Ladies Auxiliary, St. Louis. Mrs. Patterson was a secretary for the City of St. Louis and while living in Arizona worked with the Maricopa County, Phoenix Probation Department prior to her retirement.
Those left to mourn the passing of Mrs. Patterson include: one daughter and son-in-law, Monita and David Hutchison, Vienna; two grandchildren, Terry Duayne Hutchison, Gerald; and Heather Keith and husband, Mike, Union; one great-grandson, Nathan Michael Keith, Union; and other relatives and friends.
