Pearl L. Burns, age 85, of Dixon, died at 6:35 p.m., Monday, July 29, 2013, at General Leonard Wood Community Hospital, Fort Leonard Wood.
Born February 9, 1928, near Dixon, a daughter of Thurman and Ina (Morrison) Deardeuff.
Married August 15, 1946, at Columbus, Kansas, to Eugene Franklin Burns who preceded her in death.
Survivors: Two daughters and one son-in-law: Linda Sherrell, Sullivan
Phyllis and Buddy Teel, Dixon
Two sisters: Hazel and Gene Wilson, Meta
Dorothy and Jim Darden, Houston, Texas
Five grandchildren
Nine great-grandchildren
Funeral services 11 a.m., Friday, August 2, 2013, in the Dixon Chapel of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Homes.
Visitation from 5 – 7 p.m., Thursday, August 1, 2013 and 10 – 11 a.m., Friday, August 2, 2013, in the Dixon Chapel of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Homes. With an Eastern Star Service at 7 p.m., Thursday evening.
Memorial are suggested to the Dixon Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund with envelopes available at the Dixon Office of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Homes.
