Peggy Leona Benson, of Dixon, formerly of Springfield, was born March 14, 1957, at Hinton, West Virginia, the daughter of Walter, Jr. and Louise M. (Bragg) Littlepage, and departed this life at 2:45 p.m., on Saturday, August 5, 2017, in the Cox Medical Center South, Springfield. She had attained the age of 60 years, 4 months, and 22 days.

Mrs. Benson was united in marriage on August 3, 1975, at Springdale, West Virginia, to Danny L. Benson, and to this union, two daughters were born. She was preceded in death by one grandson, Brandon Potter; her father, Walter, and her mother, Louise.
Mrs. Benson had worked for an accounting firm prior to retiring. She was a full time grandmother, enjoyed sewing, and quilting, as well as being a devoted housewife and homemaker that was always diligent in providing for the needs of her family.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mrs. Benson include: Her husband of 42 years, Danny Benson, Dixon; two daughters, Bethany L. Potter and husband, Robert, Imperial; and Paula Benson, Dixon; two grandchildren, McKayla Potter and Danny Potter both of Imperial; and other relatives and friends.
