Penny Jo Holterman, age 62, of Freeburg, was born on January 14, 1962, in Nebraska, a daughter of Gary and Mary Ann (Moore) France and passed from this life on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, in the Phelps Health, Rolla.

Penny was united in marriage on June 3, 2002, in Osage County, to Mr. Bruce Lee Holterman.

She had worked as a customer service representative for Farm Bureau Insurance for over twenty-three years where she was known for her hard work, determination, and kindness. Penny was a loving mother, devoted wife, and loyal friend. She had fire in her soul and grace in her heart, bringing light to all who knew her. Her greatest joy came from her family and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Those left to mourn the passing of Penny include: her husband, Bruce Holterman, Freeburg; her children, Christopher Dearing and his fiancé, Sara Jones, of Jefferson City and Katrina Maune and her husband, Kory, of Doolittle; six grandchildren, Dylan Jones, Lily Wentzel, Jacob, Alyshia and Atticus Maune and Paul Micham; and many other relatives and friends.

Penny was preceded in death by her parents, Gary and Mary Ann and her daughter, Heather Micham.

Visitation will be held for Penny from 9 a.m. until the time of her memorial service at 11 a.m., Saturday, January 11, 2025 in the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Chapel at 406 S. Main Street, Vienna, Missouri 65582 with Rev. Basil Tigga officiating.
