Priscilla Jewell Evans, age 91, of Dixon, was born on July 13, 1932, at Kansas City, Missouri, a daughter of Samuel Clyde and Nannie Christine (Rennau) Mallicoat and passed from this life on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, in the Dixon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Dixon.

Mrs. Evans was united in marriage on December 6, 1952, at Yuma, Arizona to Clyde Amos Evans and to this union, three children were born. She was preceded in death by her husband on November 11, 2006; her daughter, Mitzi Bothwell in December of 2018; her father, Samuel; her mother, Nannie; one brother, Jack Mallicoat; and her sister, Mame Henderson.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Vienna. Mrs. Evans worked for the US Geological Survey in Rolla retiring in 1994 after 20 years, as well as being a housewife and homemaker. She enjoyed crafts and painting.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mrs. Evans include: her sons, Robert Evans of Ganns, Oklahoma and Anthony "Tony" Evans of Dixon; her son-in-law, Daniel Bothwell of Carthage; two grandchildren, Michelle Willis and her husband, Rocky and Shawn Bothwell; five great-grandchildren, Shelley, Mackenzie, Kylie, Page, and Grason; and many other relatives and friends.

Following Mrs. Evans wishes, cremation was elected under the direction of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna.
