Randall Darrell "Randy" Myers, of Brinktown, was born on November 8, 1965, at St. Louis, a son of Leslie Joseph and Geraldine Lavon (Lekey) Myers, and departed this life at 5:55 p.m., on Thursday, May 15, 2014, in the University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics, Columbia, from injuries sustained in a pickup truck accident. Randy had attained the age of 48 years, 6 months, and 3 days.
Randy had been employed at the Scholastic Company, Jefferson City, and had also worked as a farm hand for various individuals in the area. He had been a member of the Eagles Club, both in St. Louis and Vienna, and enjoyed farm work, being with friends, deer hunting, and fishing.
Those left to mourn the passing of Randy include: His parents, Les and Gerrie Myers, of Brinktown; two brothers and one sister, Charles "Chip" Haag and wife, Jennifer, of Florissant; Vickie Myers, of Villa Ridge; and Mark Myers and friend, Erica, of House Springs; and many nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Randy was conducted at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, May 17, 2014, in the Vienna Chapel of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Homes with Pastor Rebecca Mulford, Vienna United Methodist Church, officiating. Hymns selected by the family for the service were "I Want To Stroll Over Heaven With You", "I'll Fly Away", and When We All Get To Heaven".
Memorial contributions are suggested by the family of Randy to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital with envelopes available at the Vienna Office of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Homes.
