Obituary

William Randy Rollins, age 70, of Dixon, was born April 16, 1951, at Dixon, a son of Marion Oland and Doris Norene (Wiles) Rollins, and passed from this life Saturday, March 12, 2022, at his residence.

He was united in marriage September 6, 1974, in Smyrna Church of Christ near Dixon to the former Miss Betty Jo Clark, and to this union, three children were born.

Randy was baptized early in life, and at the time of his passing, was a member of Wheeler Church of Christ near Dixon.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, farming, and especially being with his family.

During his working life, Randy was employed at Brown Shoe Company, Dixon, for twenty years, and he was later employed by the Missouri Department of Corrections, Jefferson City, as the MVE Supervisor until his retirement in 2021.

Those left to mourn the passing of Randy include:  His wife, Betty, of their home in rural Dixon; two children, Amanda Helton and husband, Chris, of Jefferson City, and Will Rollins of Vienna; three grandchildren, Larissa Rollins, Sadie Helton, and Thomas Helton; one brother, Gilbert Rollins, and wife, Jessie, of Dixon; one sister, Doris Cohlmia, and husband, A. Lee, of Dixon; nephews; nieces; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by:  One infant son, William Oland Rollins, on February 13, 1977; his father, Oland, on March 5, 2002; his mother, Norene, on April 27, 2000; and one sister-in-law, Charlene Rollins.

Visitation for Mr. Randy Rollins will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12 Noon, Thursday, March 17, 2022, in Wheeler Church of Christ, 12995 Maries Road 607, Dixon, MO 65459, with his funeral service following at 12 Noon in the church with Kevin Rowden officiating under the direction of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Dixon.

Interment for Randy will be in Wheeler Cemetery, Dixon, and his pallbearers will be Aaron Cohlmia, Bryan Rollins, Troy Rollins, Zach Rollins, Bradley Robbins, and Michael Hollandsworth.  Honorary pallbearers will be Emrick Wyatt, Grant Robertson, and Thomas Helton

Memorials are to Fair Haven Children's Home, 3132 North Fairhaven Loop, Strafford, MO 65757 with envelopes at the church day of service or in care of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, P.O. Box EE, Dixon, MO 65459.
