Obituary

Richard Wiley Reeves, of Vienna, was born October 1, 1962, in Maries County, a son of James William, Sr. and Alpha Rose (Burris) Reeves, and departed this life at 2:40 p.m., on Sunday, September 27, 2020, in SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital, Jefferson City.  He had attained the age of 57 years, 11 months and 26 days.

Richard was united in marriage on October 25, 1996, at Rolla, to Kay Michelle Havens.

He began working at Quaker Windows Products Company, Freeburg, in July of 1994 and at the time of his passing was a final assembler in the Wood Geometric Department.

Those left to mourn the passing of Richard include: His wife, Kay Reeves, of the home in Vienna; his children, Ashley Grisham and husband, Josh, Rolla; Nicki Kleffner and husband, Waylon, Freeburg; Ellen Reeves, St. Elizabeth; and Richard Sullivan, Tuscumbia; nine grandchildren, Allyson Havens, Andy Sullivan, Emma Kleffner, Brody Kleffner, Beau Havens, Aubrey Grisham, Summer Rowden, Alex Grisham, and Ella Muller; four brothers, Roy Reeves and wife, Nancy, Vienna; Kenny Reeves and wife, Mona, McGirk; Gary Reeves, Jefferson City; and Robert Reeves, Vienna; three sisters, Peggy Faughn, Poplar Bluff; Sally Jo Distler and husband, Joe, Jefferson City; and Judy Warnecke and husband, Gary, New Douglas, Illinois; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, James, on December 28, 1977; his mother, Alpha, on May 30, 2003; four brothers, James Reeves, Thomas Reeves, Paul Reeves, and Danny Reeves; and one sister, Rose Ward.

Visitation for Richard will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 30, 2020, in the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, 406 South Main Street, Vienna, Missouri 65582, and from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 1, 2020, in the Church of Christ, 914 Hwy 63 North, Vienna, Missouri 65582, with his service following at 11:00 a.m. in the church with John Roberson and Jim Parker officiating.

Interment will be in the Vienna Public Cemetery under the direction of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home in Vienna.  Pallbearers will be Josh Grisham, Waylon Kleffner, Brody Kleffner, Terry Reeves, Brandon Noblett, and Joe Distler.  Honorary pallbearers will be Emma Kleffner, Aubrey Grisham, Alex Grisham, Summer Rowden, Ella Muller, Andy Sullivan, Allyson Havens and Beau Havens.

Memorial contributions in memory of Mr. Richard W. Reeves are suggested by his family to the American Cancer Society with envelopes available at the funeral home and church or in care of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, P.O. Box 250, Vienna, Missouri 65582.
