Robert Edsel "Bob" Leavell Jr., age 63, of Vienna, was born September 2, 1961, at Russellville, Arkansas, a son of Robert Edsel and Betty Jean (Massingill) Leavell Sr., and passed from this life on Friday, September 27, 2024, at the Harry S. Truman Memorial Veteran's Hospital, Columbia, surrounded by his loving family.

He was united in marriage on March 28, 1997, at Dixon, to Tina Sue Robertson.

In 1984 in Arkansas, Bob entered active federal service in the United States Army and served until November 24, 1992, when he was honorably discharged at the rank of SP4. A man of excellent character, Bob's Honorable Discharge is a testimony of selfless and faithful service to his country.

After his honorable discharge from the United States Army, Bob went on to work for Glen Dale Trucking as an over the road truck driver for most of his working life; Bob also worked as a yardman at Becker Millwork and Hardware, Freeburg, for 14 years.

Bob was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting, being on the Gasconade River, trucking, his gun collection, but above all he loved spending time with his grandchildren and being their ice cream supplier.

Those left to mourn the passing of Bob include: his loving wife of 27 years, Tina of the home near Vienna; his son Cole Roberston and wife, Savanna of Vienna; three grandchildren, Addison Robertson, Brooklyn Robertson and Cole Robertson Jr.; his sister, Velda Frazier and husband, Keith of Russellville, Arkansas; nephew, Christoper Collins and wife, Ashely and their children, Presley Collins, Emory Collins, and Carter Roach, all of Dover, Arkansas; niece, Kimberly Campbell and husband Justin of Dover Arkansas; one sister-in-law, Sherry Aaron and companion, Gary of Waynesville; one brother-in-law, Clifford Robertson and wife, Mary of Washington; as well as many other relatives and friends.

Bob was preceded in death by his father, Robert on August 12, 2017; his mother, Betty on November 28, 2014; his father-in-law, Clifford Robertson on August 8, 2020; and his mother-in-law, Virginia Robertson on July 3, 2023.
