Robert Eugene Breeding, age 61, of Camdenton, formerly of Freeburg and Vienna, was born October 8, 1959, a son of Bobbie Gene Breeding, and passed from this life Tuesday, July 13,2021, at his residence in Windsor Estates, Camdenton.

In earlier years, Robert lived with his great-uncle and aunt, John and Ada (Breeding) Klosterhoff, who made a family, a place to call home, and a "Dad and Mom" who cared for him. Following his educational years, he was known by the nickname "Wood Hippy". During his working life, Robert had been employed as a dairy farm worker in Jefferson City, Missouri, and Ursa, Illinois, as well as being a forklift operator while living in Illinois.

Robert was known to have three siblings, John, Joyce, and Judy, and is survived by cousins, other relatives, and friends, especially his care provider friend, Penny Veltrop.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bobbie Gene (12-11-1991); his paternal grandfather, Harrison Cleveland Breeding (5-10-1991); his paternal grandmother, Eva Ruth (Feeler) Breeding (12-23-1938); his paternal step-grandmother, Mildred Gertrude (Armer) Breeding (7-16-2005); and his great-uncle and aunt as parents, John Klosterhoff (8-30-1993) and Ada (Breeding) Klosterhoff (11-17-2000).

Visitation for Robert will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., on Friday, July 30, 2021, in the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, 406 South Main Street, Vienna, Missouri  65582, with his funeral service following in the chapel at 2:00 p.m.

Private inurnment will be in the Breeding Cemetery, in Maries County, near Freeburg, where Robert will be near family and those that loved him.
