Rosemary Ann Schulte, of Vienna, formerly of Argyle, was born on August 28, 1936, at Rich Fountain, a daughter of August John and Mathilda (Ruder) Eisterhold, and departed this life at 6:01 a.m., on Tuesday morning, October 28, 2014, in the Capital Region Medical Center, Jefferson City. She had been in failing health for some time and had attained the age of 78 years and 2 months.
Mrs. Schulte was united in marriage on October 30, 1954, in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Rich Fountain to John Donovan "Buck" Schulte, and to this union, two children were born. She was preceded in death by her husband on January 13, 1996, her father and mother, three brothers, Elmer Eisterhold, August "Gus" Eisterhold, Jr., and Sylvester "Jim" Eisterhold; and one sister, Marie Theresa Eisterhold.
Mrs. Schulte was a member of the St. Aloysius Catholic Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Argyle Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States of America Post 8045, both in Argyle. She enjoyed being with her family; her special friend, Lee Stough; and her long-time pet, Chloe.
During her working life, Mrs. Schulte was employed as a secretary with her specialty being in payroll accounting. She was first employed by the Ottenheimer Uniform Company in Meta and later by the Modine Manufacturing Company in Jefferson City.
Those left to mourn the passing of Mrs. Schulte include: her daughter, Debra Kaye (Joe) Setzer, Jefferson City; her son, John Denver (Carol Jo) Schulte, rural Meta; six grandchildren, Stacia (Bryan) Steinman, Thomas (Liana) Williams, Theron (Tory) Williams, John (Tiffany) Schulte, Sarah (Jamie) Jones, and Sam Schulte; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles (Ruth) Eisterhold, Jefferson City, and Gerald (Bonnie) Eisterhold, Conyers, Georgia; five sisters, Georgia (Tubby) Mebruer, Rich Fountain, Betty (Alvin) Bocklage, Westphalia, Esther (Jim) Dalton, Jefferson City, Suzanne (Michael) Bauer, Rich Fountain, and Mary Ruth (Michael) Schellman, St. Martins; two sisters-in-law, Betty Eisterhold, Rich Fountain, and Germaine "Chick" Cason, Boulder, Colorado; brother-in-law, Larry "Wabash" Schulte, rural Meta; nephews, nieces, and a host of other relatives and friends.
A Mass of Christian burial for Mrs. Schulte will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, November 1, 2014, in the St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Argyle, with the Rev. James Finder as the celebrant. Music was provided by the St. Aloysius Church Choir under the direction of Mrs. Linda Reichel.
Interment will be in the St. Aloysius Cemetery, Argyle, under the direction of the Vienna Chapel of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Homes. Pallbearers for Mrs. Schulte were Thomas Williams, Theron Williams, Bryan Steinman, John Schulte, Sam Schulte, and Jamie Jones. Honorary pallbearers were Megan Steinman, Riley Steinman, Charlie Williams, John Henry Schulte, Brett Welschmeyer, Clara Jones, and Luke Jones.
Memorial contributions are suggested by the family of Mrs. Schulte to the Visitation Inter Parish School, Vienna, with envelopes available at the Vienna Office of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Homes.
