Rowdy Lynn Snodgrass, age 62, of Meta, was born June 1, 1961, at Jefferson City, a son of Melvena (Adkins) and Billy Snodgrass Sr., and passed from this life on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, in his home near Meta, surrounded by his loving family.

He was united in marriage October 13, 1979, at Vienna, to the former Miss Dawn Renèe McKinney, and to this union four children were born.

Rowdy recently accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. During his working life, he was employed as a Core Assembler with Modine Manufacturing, Jefferson City, for 35 years until his health prevented him from working. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing on the Gasconade River, bull and cattle sales, slow-pitch softball, and horseshoes.

Those left to mourn the passing of Rowdy include: his loving wife of 44 years, Dawn, of the home near Meta; his parents, Billy and Melvena Snodgrass Sr., of Meta; his children:  Dana Rehagen and husband, Kevin, of Loose Creek, Laurie Reeves and husband, Jason, Jamey Snodgrass and wife, Melanie, and Amber Miller and husband, Kenneth, all of Vienna; nine grandchildren:  Kaedyn and Kynlee Rehagen, Aubrey, Talan, and Gentry Reeves, Bristol and Skyler Snodgrass, Raelynn and Bodie Miller; his siblings:  Russell Snodgrass and wife, Phyllis, of Vienna, Rhonda Schwartz and husband, Roy, of Argyle, and Billy Snodgrass Jr. and wife, LeeAnn, of Vienna; as well as uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Rowdy was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Melvin and Mildred Adkins, and his paternal grandparents, Ted and Ruby Snodgrass.

Visitation for Rowdy Snodgrass will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, January 28, 2024, and from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 29, 2024, at First Baptist Church, 1004 US Highway 63, Vienna, MO 65582, with his funeral service following at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Chris Slocum officiating under the direction of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna.

Immediately following the funeral service, the Snodgrass family extends an invitation to all in attendance to share a meal with them in the Fellowship Hall located on the lower level of the church.

Serving as honorary pallbearers for Rowdy will be Jamey Snodgrass, Kevin Rehagen, Jason Reeves, Kenneth Miller, Aubrey Reeves, Kaedyn Rehagen, Talan Reeves, Kynlee Rehagen, Gentry Reeves, Bristol Snodgrass, Raelynn Miller, Skyler Snodgrass, Bodie Miller, Billy Snodgrass Jr., Rhonda Schwartz, and Russell Snodgrass.
