Obituary

Sharon Catherine Sweet, of Rolla, was born on March 25, 1957, at Jefferson City, a daughter of Everett Herman John and Susanna Sophia (Schaffer) Weed, and departed this life on Thursday, June 6, 2019, at her residence after suffering an apparent heart attack.  She had attained the age of 62 years, 2 months, and 12 days.

Sharon was united in marriage on November 1, 1986, at Vienna, to Gary Lynn Sweet, who survives.

During her working life, she had been employed by the Quaker Window Products Company, Freeburg, for twenty-seven years, and had attained the position of Quality Control Agent at the time of her retirement in 2008.

Others left to mourn the passing of Sharon include:  Her sons, Brad Wagner and wife, Amanda, of Rolla, and Brian Wagner and wife, Heather, of Argyle; step-daughter, Jennifer Bockover and husband, Gideon, of Vichy; her thirteen grandchildren; her siblings, Loretta Haller and husband, Larry, of Vienna, Laverne Kampeter of Westphalia, Wanda Breeding and husband, Donald, of Vienna, Elaine Heimericks and husband, Larry, of Argyle, Randy Weed of Freeburg, Dewayne Weed and wife, Karen, of Rolla, Anita Steinmetz and husband, Michael, of Springfield, and Leon Weed and friend, Tracy Rector, of Dixon; sister-in-law, Tracey Bremer and husband, Jim, of Dixon; father of her sons, Bennie Wagner, of Vienna; nephews; nieces; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Rylie Dawn Wagner, on April 4, 2017; her father, Everett "Ed", on July 31, 2010; her mother, Susanna, on January 9, 2014; and a brother, Ronald John Weed on September 8, 2013.

Funeral services for Mrs. Sharon Sweet will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., on Tuesday, June 11, 2019, in the Vienna Chapel of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home with the Rev. Matthew Flatley, Visitation Catholic Church, Vienna, officiating.

Interment was in the St. Aloysius Cemetery, Argyle, under the direction of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home in Vienna. Pallbearers for Sharon will be her sons, Brad Wagner and Brian Wagner. Honorary pallbearers were Ryan Wagner, Alexandra Wagner, Shawn Stanton, Anderson Wagner, Lillian Stanton, Rylie Wagner, Oliver Caninglia, Dylan Wagner, Jackson Wagner, and Charlie Wagner.
