Obituary

Mrs. Shirley Faye Davis, age 65, of Rolla, was born May 1, 1957, in Orange, Texas, a daughter of James R. and Ellen Joyce (Ormond) Campbell, Sr., and passed from this life Monday, October 31, 2022, in Cedar Point, Rolla.

She was united in marriage to Truitt Davis, who survives in Hemphill, Texas.

Shirley accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized in Texas by her brother, Clarence Campbell, in the early 1990's.  At the time of her passing, Shirley was a member of the Vichy Campground Church of God, where she worshiped her Lord and Savior by singing special selections and working in all church related activities.  In her spare time, the activity she loved the most was reading.

During her working life, Shirley was employed as a receptionist and custodian for Dr. Grover Winslow in Hemphill, Texas.

In addition to her husband, Truitt, others left to celebrate Shirley's homegoing include: Her children, Ken Tillery II, San Antonio, Texas; and LaRanda Tillery, Hemphill, Texas; siblings, James R. Campbell, Jr., and Teddy L. Campbell both of Hemphill, Texas; Clarence G. Campbell, Vichy; and  LaDonna Willis, Hemphill, Texas; sister-in-law, Faye Schultz, Hemphill, Texas; four grandchildren, Austin Alexander, Ruby Joyce Strickland, Ken Tillery III, and Coltin Tillery; nephews, nieces, with great and great-greats as well; good friends, Carla Block, Barbie Travis, Lynn Sharp, and many others.

She was preceded in death by her father, James; her mother, Joyce; brother, Bobby Schultz; and sister Mary Ellen Campbell.

Visitation for Shirley will be held from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, November 5, 2022, with the funeral service following at 2:00 p.m., at the Vichy Campground Church of God, 17411 Maries Road 440, Vichy, Missouri 65580, with Bro. Clarence G. Campbell officiating.

Interment will be in the Vichy Campground Church of God Cemetery, Vichy under the direction of  Vienna Chapel of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home.  Pallbearers for Shirley will be Adam Campbell, Aaron Campbell, Barak Campbell, Ken B. Tillery III, Coltin Tillery, and Michael Campbell.

Memorials are suggested to the Vichy Campground Church of God with envelopes available at the Church or in care of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, P.O. Box 250, Vienna, Missouri 65582.
