Teddy Roy Bartlett, of St. Louis, formerly of Dixon, was born June 9, 1953, at Waynesville, a son of Ernest and Wilma (Long) Bartlett, and departed this life at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, January 18, 2014, in Hillside Manor, St. Louis. Teddy had attained the age of 60 years, 7 months, and 9 days.
Teddy was first united in marriage on May 31, 1971, at Dixon, to Sarah Ann Dambach, and to this union, one daughter was born. Sarah preceded him in death on February 9, 1977. He was later united in marriage on May 26, 1994, at Dixon, to Annette Lea Tirrell. He was also preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and one sister.
Teddy was a member of the Church of Christ, Crocker, and while his health permitted, was a driver for the Yellow Cab Company in Waynesville and St. Robert.
His family includes his wife, Annette Bartlett; one daughter, Terri Schaffer; four brothers, Robert, Harry, Earl, and Tommy Bartlett; one sister, Billie Jo Bartlett; and grandchildren. Fond memories will always be remembered in the hearts of his family and all who knew him.
Visitation for Teddy will be 6 – 7 P.M., Tuesday, February 11, 2014, in the Dixon Chapel of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Homes, with a Memorial Service following.
Private interment will be in the Crocker Cemetery, Crocker, Missouri.
