Terry Lee Hertzing, of Vichy, was born on June 8, 1957, at Vienna, the son of Henry Mike and Rosemary (Rotter) Holterman and departed this life at 8:28 p.m., on Friday, October 12, 2018, at his residence near Vichy.  He endured a lengthy illness from cancer and had attained the age of 61 years, 4 months, and 4 days.

Terry entered into a lifetime relationship with Marilyn Marie McMullin, in 1979, at Vienna, and together, they raised their family.

Terry had accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Personal Savior and had followed his Lord in baptism on October 11, 2018.  He really enjoyed doing gardening, fishing, and especially liked any activity involving his grandchildren. During his working life, Terry was first employed at the Johnny Hayes Saw Mill in Vienna for ten years, and was later employed by the Quaker Window Products Company, Freeburg, in the Thermofill Department and Paint Department for thirty years retiring in 2005, due to ill health.

Those left to mourn the passing of Terry include: his wife, Marilyn, of the home, near Vichy; his children, Terry Wayne Hertzing (Teresa), Vienna, Angela Simmons (Rickie), Bland, Christopher Boessen (Carolyn Barton), Vichy, and Melissa Boessen, Vichy; eleven grandchildren: Layne, Kayla, Bella, Cody, Dylan, Brittany, Austin, Emily, Logan, Caleb, and Nevaeh; one great-granddaughter, Paisley; his siblings: Rick Hertzing, Argyle, Bruce Holterman (Penny), Freeburg, Mary Conners (Donald), Jefferson City, Virginia Sweet (Danny Brown), St. James, Gloria Sweet (Bill), Rolla, Debbie White (Larry), Vienna, Lisa Wieberg, Freeburg, Tammy Crane (Wes), Dixon, Kim Sweet, Little Rock, Arkansas, Tina Holterman, St. James, and Stacy Holterman, Freeburg.

Terry was preceded in death by one daughter, Ashley Ann Hertzing (November 9, 1986 – February 24, 1987), his father, Henry, on October 5, 2000; his mother, Rosemary, on February 27, 2011; and one brother, Troy Lee Holterman, on April 12, 2015.

Visitation for Terry Lee Hertzing will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 16, 2018, in the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, 406 South Main Street, Vienna, Missouri 65582, with his funeral service following at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel with Bro. Bradley Dimock, Calvary Apostolic Church, St. James, officiating.

Interment will be in the Vienna Public Cemetery under the direction of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home in Vienna. Pallbearers for Terry will be Cody Boessen, Layne Hogshooter, Dylan Boessen, Ryan Sweet, Brian White, and Bradley Wieberg.
