Terry Lee Rubin, resident of Polk City, Florida, was born on July 26, 1951, in St. Louis Missouri., the late son of Melvin and Leota (Frick) Rubin. Terry departed his earthly home on Saturday, June, 21, 2014, in Lakeland Florida at the age of 62 years, 10 months, and 25 days to be with his Heavenly Father.
As a dedicated member of the Baptist faith, Terry was united in marriage on December 31, 2000, in Stanton, Missouri, to M. Jacalyn "Jackie" Gray. He was preceded in death by his parents; paternal grandfather, Benjamin Rubin and maternal grandparents, Ralph Lee and Opal Frick.
Terry retired from the United States Postal Service in 2011 after having serving 34 years of Federal Employment. He also served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War Era from July 1, 1970 until November 23, 1974.
Those left to mourn Terry's passing into eternal life include: his devoted wife "Jackie" Rubin, Polk City , FL; one daughter, Kelly Lee Rubin, Pacific, MO; three sons, Leslie J. Williams, St. Louis, MO, Ronald Williams, St. Joseph, MO, and David Williams, Mathews, MO; one sister, Bonnie Sue (Jerry) Togerson, St. Louis, MO; one granddaughter, Destiny L. Williams, Peidmont, MO; one grandson, Preston C. Williams, St. Joseph, MO; along with several nieces and nephews.
Following Terry's wishes, the family elected cremation, with a memorial service laying his ashes to rest with full military honors to be held at 11:30 A. M. on Saturday, July 26, 2014, in the Union Hill Cemetery, Vienna Mo. A reception will follow the service in the Union Hill Baptist Church, Vienna. All arrangements are under the direction of the Vienna Chapel of the Birmingham Martin Funeral Home.
