Timothy Alan Moon, age 56, of Holts Summit, formerly of Vienna, was born January 2, 1964, at Tuscumbia, in Miller County, a son of Wright Francis "D.D." and Lena Mae (Reed) Moon, and passed from this life Tuesday, March 10, 2020, at his residence in Holts Summit.

He received Jesus Christ into his heart at a young age professing Jesus as his Lord, his Savior, and his assurance of eternal salvation. Timothy received his education at Maries R-1 Schools in Vienna. He was employed in construction work for all his working life. Activities Timothy enjoyed included hunting, fishing, gardening, and especially all types of wood working projects.

Those left to celebrate the life of Timothy include: Six sisters and two brothers, Bonnie Green, St. Louis; Sharon Carr, Wright City; Carol (Larry) Bollinger, St. Charles; Anna Sloan, Vienna; Patricia Kyle (friend, Pete Gee), Marietta, Georgia; Jeanne Smith, Holts Summit; John (Tina) Moon, New Bloomfield; and William "Billy" Moon, Jefferson City; his former wife, Mary Moon Legler, Jefferson City; his step-grandchildren as his own, Kaelee, Jamie, Kadin, and Alyssa; nephews, nieces, with greats and great-greats as well; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, D.D. (1-7-1982); his mother, Lena (7-13-2013); one brother, Steve Wayne Moon (11-20-1974); and one sister, Betty Besche (1996).

Visitation for Mr. Timothy Moon will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 16, 2021, in Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, 406 South Main Street, Vienna, MO 65582, with his funeral service following at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral chapel with Rev. Clifford C. Wagner, Jr., Vienna Christian Life Assembly, officiating.

Inurnment will be near his parents and other relatives in Rader Cemetery, Vienna, under the direction of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna, MO. Honorary pallbearers for Timothy will be Billy Moon, John Moon, Scott Cunningham, Mike Juergens, Dusty Juergens, and Jason Besche.
