Obituary

Victor Joseph Redel, of Argyle, was born on January 17, 1940, at Argyle, in Osage County, a son of Bernard Peter and Marie (Steinman) Redel, and departed this life at 7:40 p.m., on Monday, August 27, 2018, in the Dixon Nursing and Rehab Center, Dixon.  He had attained the age of 78 years, 7 months, and 10 days.

Victor was a member of the St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Argyle, had served in the United States Army, was a member of the Moose Lodge, Woodward, Oklahoma, enjoyed trail riding, and loved his horses, racing, football and baseball.  He was a truck driver and owned and operated Redel Trucking, Woodward, Oklahoma, for twenty years, prior retiring and moving back to Argyle in 2013.

Those left to mourn the passing of Victor include: His longtime friend and partner, Mary Harrington, of the home in Argyle; his children, Tina (Dennis) Brondel, Bonnots Mill; Lydell J. (Aneisa) Redel, Holts Summit; CSM Retired Douglas (Brenda) Redel, El Paso, Texas; DeWayne Redel, Armstrong; and Lori (Tim) Collins, Jefferson City; grandchildren, Curtis (Luz) Kerr, Blake Kerr, Ashley Kerr  (Fiancé Jeremiah), Corey J. Redel, Raven Redel  (Fiancé Dakoda), Clinton (Joy) Redel, Zach Redel, Amanda Redel, Trinity (Brian) Dale, and Shelby (Jonah) Jent; great-grandchildren, Diego, Adam, Brady, Prestin, Zayne, Maverick, Isabelle, Kiaya, Darby, Silas, and two more anticipated; his siblings, Ann Ruckman, St. Louis; Viola (Ray) Dudenhoeffer, Freeburg; Janie (Stanley) Davis, Linn Creek; the mother of his children, Pamela Davis Arnold, Linn; nephews; nieces; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bernard, on August 21, 1980; his mother, Marie, on April 27, 1984; his siblings, Bernita Lock, Oscar Redel and (His Twin) Vince Redel; his pet dog "Son"; two nephews and a niece, Debbie Redel, Danny Dudenhoeffer, and Randy Lock.

Memorials are suggested by the family of Mr. Victor J. Redel to the Argyle Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8045 with envelopes available at the church or in care of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, P.O. Box 250, Vienna, MO 65582.
