Obituary

Virginia Mae Finn, of Rolla, was born December 5, 1954, near Dixon, in Pulaski County, a daughter of John William and Virginia Verniece (Sharp) Corey, and departed this life at 2:50 a.m., on Monday, June 15, 2020, in Phelps Health, Rolla. She had been in failing health for some time and had attained the age of 65 years, 6 months, and 10 days.

Virginia was united in marriage on December 15, 2001, at Rolla, to Perri Leon Finn.

During her working life, Virginia had been employed in restaurant work as a waitress, later as a store clerk, and finally as a store manager prior to her retirement due to failing health. She enjoyed playing computer games, doing facebook, fishing, and activities with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Those left to mourn the passing of Virginia include: Her husband, Perri Finn, of the home in Rolla; her family, April Mitchell, St. Louis, Andrew Adami (Kimberly), Jerome, Jesse Finn (Casey), Linn, Kyle Finn (Nikki), Jefferson City, and John Adami, Rolla; her grandchildren, Kristi Jenkins, Gary Adami, Shyene Adami, Erin Adami, Elena Adami, Shelby Adami, Hailey Chapell, Adalyn Chapell, Braelyn Finn, Clara Nowlin, Jack Nowlin, Sam Finn, and Alexis Foust; her great-grandchildren, Damian, Braelinn, Liberty, Kiley, Peyton, and Brooklyn, with another one anticipated in September of 2020; two brothers, Larry Corey (Connie), Bloomington, Illinois, and James Corey (Bettysu), Rolla; two sisters, Sue McCurdy (Harold), Rolla, and Mary Porter, state of Indiana; nephews; nieces; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, John (known as "Jack"), on December 4, 2009, her mother, Virginia (known as "Niece"), on May 27, 2010; and three brothers, Richard Hartley, Bill Hartley, and Dennis Hartley.

Visitation for Mrs. Virginia Mae Finn will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., on Friday, June 26, 2020, in the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, 105 East Third Street, Dixon, Missouri 65459, with her funeral service following in the chapel at 12:00 p.m. with the Rev. Dennis Nichols, Pastor of Victory Hill Baptist Church, near Dixon.

Interment will be in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery-Fort Leonard Wood, located at Waynesville, by Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home in Dixon. Honorary pallbearers for Virginia will be Andrew Adami, Jesse Finn, Kyle Finn, John Adami, Ricky D. Butler, Buck Edwards, Mathew Jamison, and Jesse Connor.

Memorial contributions in memory of Mrs. Virginia Mae Finn are suggested by her family to help with expenses with envelopes available at the funeral home the day of her service or in care of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, P.O. Box EE, Dixon, Missouri 65459.
