Vivian Lee Burnett, of Dixon, Missouri, formerly of Pana, Illinois, was born on September 8, 1934, at Rosamond, Illinois, a daughter of Leroy and Fern (McMillan) Crowe, and departed this life at 3:00 a.m., on Sunday, February 2, 2020, in Life Care Center, Waynesville, Missouri. Mrs. Burnett had attained the age of 85 years, 4 months, and 23 days.
She was first united in marriage to Everett Lee Dull, and to this union, five sons were born. Vivian was later united in marriage on May 27, 1983, in Pana, Illinois, to Shubel Burnett, Jr.
She was a member of Pana First Church of the Nazarene, Pana, Illinois, and a former member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. After moving to Dixon in 2016, she became a member of the Santee Community Church, Dixon. For most of her working life, she was a bookkeeper for County Market, Pana, Illinois, retiring after many years. Vivian enjoyed quilting, sewing, and crafting.
Those left to mourn the passing of Mrs. Burnett include: Her grandchildren, Shannon Scott and husband, J.R., Dixon; Amanda Singleton and husband, Adam, Sparta, Michigan; and Stacey Denney-Hunter, and husband, Ryan, Grand Rapids, Michigan; her great-grandchildren, Courtney Scott, Abigail Scott, Morgan Singleton, Kadance House, Lilah Dull, Skylar Dull, Tyler Dull, Jaxson Singleton, Addyson McDowell, Chloe Logan, and Ashley Denney-Hunter; one brother, Dale Crowe, Pana, Illinois; one sister, Elsie Spurgeon and husband, Dave, Pana, Illinois; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Everett; her second husband, Shubel; five sons, twins in infancy Darrell and Gerald Dull, Billy Dull, Harold "Denny" Dull, and Wayne Dull; siblings, Kenny Crowe, Harold Crowe, Betty Rakers, and Virgil Crowe.
Visitation for Mrs. Burnett was held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., on Friday, February 7, 2020, in the Pana First Church of the Nazarene, 1200 East Sixth Street, Pana, Illinois 62557 with the funeral service following at 11:00 a.m. in the church, with Pastor Shannon Perry, Santee Community Church, Dixon, officiating.
Interment was in the Rosemond Grove Cemetery, Rosamond, Illinois. Pallbearers for Mrs. Burnett were Kirk Taylor, Mark Beyers, Don Stolte, Aaron Taylor, Dustin Jackson, and J.R. Scott. Honorary pallbearers will be Brian Klein, Noah Taylor, Ross Beyers, Ryan Beyers, Kenny Stolte, and Rickie Ginger.
Memorials are suggested by her family to the Rosemond Grove Cemetery with envelopes available at the church or in care of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, P.O. Box EE, Dixon, Missouri 65459.
