Walter Henry Fitzpatrick, of Jefferson City, formerly of University City, was born on February 20, 1925, at Vienna, a son of Dennis Charles and Margaret Bridgette (Reichel) Fitzpatrick, and departed this life at 4:00 p.m., on Friday afternoon, July 1, 2016, in the Jefferson City Manor Care Center, Jefferson City. He had attained the age of 91 years, 4 months and 12 days.

Mr. Fitzpatrick was united in marriage on December 31, 1960, at St. Louis, to the former Ivalette L. Sprick. He was preceded in death by his wife on January 13, 2003; his parents; four brothers, Jim Fitzpatrick, Michael Fitzpatrick, George Fitzpatrick, and Tom Fitzpatrick; and one sister, Agnes Evelyn Leubbert.

Mr. Fitzpatrick spent his working life as a Roofer and was a member of the United Union of Roofers, Waterproofers, and Allied Workers Local No. 2., St. Louis.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mr. Fitzpatrick include a host of relatives and friends.
