He departed this life at 8:44 a.m., Friday morning, April 3, 2020 at home with his family.  William (Bill) was a son of William Allen Rollins and Mary Dewey (Boyce) Rollins.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia June Sheldon, on October 18, 2016; his father, William (Willie), on July 8, 1958; his mother, Mary, on July 2, 1984; and four sisters, Audrey Pauline Stokes, Norma Eileen Withers, Muriel Maxine Lee, Melva Darlene Hayes; and four Rollins brothers, Marion Oland, Thedore Allen, Edwin Buell (Bates), Robert Ray (Bobby); and one son-in-law, Thomas (Tom) Goosey.

Mr. Rollins had five children with his former spouse, Ruby Richmond, who survive him: Angela Kaye Alexander (spouse Randal) of Dixon, Deborah Diane Goosey of Ozark, William Eugene Rollins (wife Annie) of Swedeborg, James Allen Rollins and Sherri Jo Rollins of Dixon.  Other surviving family are brothers, Forrest Leland Rollins (partner Darlene Hubard), Alvin Myrl Rollins (wife Barb), Gary Norman Rollins (wife Neta); 12 grandchildren-- Amber and Drew Alexander (wife Ashley), Megan Goosey, Amber Eidsen (spouse Corbett), Billy and Aaron Rollins (wife Kristin), Nick Rollins (wife Ari-Ann), Corey Rollins (wife Miwako), Riley Rollins (wife Julie), Justin Durham, Jordan Durham (fiancé Samantha), Jerica Otto (spouse Dustin); 3 step-grandchildren-- Jessa Rodriguez (spouse Tony), Tyler and Thayne Warren; and 16 great-grandchildren -- Vivian, Katelyn, Mckenzie, Arabella, Ansley, Carter, Sophia, Zimri, Escher, Maya, Machaia, Joseph, Joshua, Evelyn, Treven and Nolan, many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, other family and friends.

Bill had been river baptized in his youth when he trusted the Lord Jesus Christ in faith. He was a member of the Wheeler Church of Christ where he enjoyed fellowship for many years.  His sister-in-law, Neta, always fixed a plate for Bill at church dinners there.  And he often gave his great-nephew, Hunter, an extra dollar to put in the offering plate.

Bill's occupation was a foreman constructing highways and airports for Clarkson and Koss construction companies in the states of Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Illinois and Iowa, in the Unions of Operating Engineers, Locals 101 and 513, and Construction Industry Laborers. He retired in 1997.

Bill liked watching Westerns, country music (George Jones) and played guitar and sang to his children when they were young. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family and friends, and riding the Gator with his dog Ralph to tend garden, feed animals and be outdoors on his farm.  Bill loved story telling that gave big laughs. Despite differences of opinions, the 12 siblings of Willie and Mary stayed closely knit together throughout their lives with love and laughter.  He adored all of his family and they were his life's greatest treasure.
