Rosemary Louise Hooker, age 86, of Vienna, was born October 16, 1937, at Union, Missouri, a daughter of Ferdinand H. and Mary Ellen Myrtle (Mallioux) Hoelscher, and passed from this life Saturday, June 29, 2024, at her residence.

She was married September 7, 1957, at St. Ann, Missouri, to Jeff Donald Hooker, who preceded her in death on July 27, 2019.

Rosemary was a devoted housewife and homemaker who enjoyed cooking, baking, working in her garden, and especially going to the casino.

Those left to mourn the passing of Rosemary include: her three daughters, Valier Igel and husband, Marty, of O'Fallon, Phyllis MacConnell, of O'Fallon, and Joyce Hooker, of Vienna; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband, Jeff, and her parents, Rosemary, was also preceded in death by her six siblings, Herbie, Helen, Louie, Anna Marie, Mary, and Duball.

Visitation for Mrs. Hooker will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 3, 2024, in the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home Chapel, 406 S. Main Street, Vienna, MO 65582, with her funeral service following in the chapel at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Lynn Facemeyer, Vienna United Methodist Church, officiating.
